World Ocean Day, celebrated on June 8th each year, is a global event that raises awareness about the importance of our oceans and the need to protect them. It’s a day dedicated to understanding the vital role oceans play in sustaining life on Earth, from regulating the climate to providing food and oxygen. We offer a variety of resources to help teach children about World Ocean Day, including ocean-themed puzzles and playsets, and resources for ocean themed invitations to play and sensory trays. *Above Play Set up is from Kirsty's Family Daycare, using some of our resources.
