History Behind Folkmanis
Folkmanis was started as a handcrafting hobby by Judy Folkmanis in the 1960's to entertain her children, and soon started getting requests from other parents for their own sets. Judy was astounded when her real to life creations began attracting a growing group of buyers, and her bio-chemist trained husband soon joined her team. The company believes that imagination is the key to a healthy childhood. With this in mind, they focus their designs on innovative high-quality puppets that introduce children to the natural world around them.
